1. Availability and price
1.1 In the exceptional case where a product is out of stock, we will notify you by email and will indicate when this product will be available again. You will have the option to cancel this part of the order if you wish.
1.2 If the item you ordered is out of stock, but we have a comparable product available, we reserve the right to replace one item with another. This will only be done if the replacement product is of an exact or better standard. For example, if a brand of purchased insecticide has an active ingredient of 1%, it will only be replaced by another brand of insecticide of at least this concentration.
1.3 We constantly monitor our competitors to ensure we offer you the best possible prices. If you see an identical product available at a lower price elsewhere, we guarantee to match the price. This policy does not apply to liquidation sales, auction sites, price errors, bulk discount prices or prices offered on unavailable stocks.
2.1 We will ship your order on the day of receipt, provided your order is placed before 4pm. If your order is placed after this deadline or is received on weekends or on a holiday, it will be shipped the next business day. In times of excessive demand or other exceptional circumstances, these delays may increase. In exceptional circumstances where we are unable to ship your order on the same day, Pest Expert Ltd and its associated companies reserve the right to ship the goods the next day. In this case, the shipping costs paid by the customer will either be refunded, or the order will be cancelled and refunded in full.
2.2 Delivery is normally made by DPD, although lighter items may be sent with Royal Mail on a preferred recorded delivery service and bulk quantity / high value orders will be sent by way of pallet. Packages are always delivered within 1-2 working days. International delivery times depend on the destination, with delivery to continental Europe taking usually 3-5 working days. Although we offer a delivery service within 2-3 business days, we cannot guarantee or accept responsibility in the exceptional case where the goods do not reach you within 2-3 business days.
2.3 In the unlikely event that you have not received your goods within 3 business days of the order, please contact us and we will provide you with the necessary information to track your progress with DPD or the Royal Mail. After DPD has picked up your package from us, the responsibility for its safe and timely delivery is transferred to them. If you have any questions or complaints about your delivery, please contact them directly.
2.4 It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery service is selected at the time of ordering. We cannot ship your items until the correct shipping cost has been paid. Customers in the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, the Isles of Man & Sicilly, the Republic of Ireland and Europe who select standard UK Mainland Delivery will be contacted and requested to pay the extra delivery charge.
2.5 Your delivery will require a signature. If you cannot be present to receive delivery at the indicated address, we suggest that you choose to have your order delivered to your work or other address at the time of ordering. NB DPD can deliver you at any time during normal business hours (8 am to 6 pm).
2.6 If the carrier did not deliver to you either because you were not available at the address indicated when the carrier attempted to deliver your order, or because you did not collect the order timely, or because the address you provided is incorrect or does not exist and your order is returned to us, we will charge a fee of £ 9.95 to cover the costs we incur by sending your order and paying for its return with either DPD or Royal Mail.
Where goods are shipped by way of pallet and delivery is not possible, the return costs increase to the cost price we incur for both outbound and return shipping, As these costs are variable, no cost be stated herewith, but proof of costs will be supplied, with the total amount we incur being deducted from the order value paid before refund is issued.
Upon receipt of the returned goods, and upon request, we will reimburse you the amount remaining after the deduction of the aforementioned fees. We are unable to redeliver returned orders unless additional shipping charges are paid. We regret that we cannot be held responsible if the carrier did not inform you of his attempt to deliver to the address indicated on your order. Please contact the carrier directly
2.7 In the unlikely event that your order is missing and has been sent on a recorded delivery service, please note that Royal Mail will not consider it to be lost until after 21 days of the shipment date and that we cannot redeliver the missing order before this time. Any non-receipt claims must be reported to us within 14 days from placing the order.
2.8 Although we offer a next day delivery service, and while our chosen dispatch company are of a very high standard, we can not completely guarantee or accept any responsibility, in the unlikely event that goods do not reach you on the following working day. In exceptional circumstances where we are unable to dispatch same day, PestControlSupermarket.com and its associated companies reserve the right to dispatch goods on the following day. In this event any delivery charges paid by the customer will either be reimbursed or the order cancelled and refunded in full.
3. Cancellations, returns and refunds
3.1 You can cancel and return your order at any time within seven business days, starting the day after receiving the products (the "cooling-off period"). In this case, upon receipt of the returned goods, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the products in accordance with our refund policy, minus the delivery charges we incurred.
3.2 To cancel your order, you must notify us by email or in writing and provide a brief explanation as to the reason for the return. We will send you an email with the appropriate return instructions and address. Upon receipt of these instructions, you must return the products immediately, in the same condition in which you received them, with the original packing slip or a copy thereof, and at your expense and risk. We recommend that you use the recommended delivery or other delivery with a package tracking service when returning the products. Our return address is: 42, Broadfield Road, Sheffield, S8 0XJ.
3.3 We hope you will be satisfied with your purchase. However, if you wish to return an item you bought on our site, we will be happy to refund the item if we return the item within 14 business days of the delivery date. To return a product, please follow the procedure described in paragraph 3.2 as above.
3.4 All goods should be checked at time of receipt, before signing for. If your parcel has been damaged in transit then a note to this effect must be made on the courier's paperwork in order for a claim for damage to be considered by the carrier. If thereafter you discover a fault with any of your goods, then we will offer you an exchange or refund as long as the fault or damage is reported within 48 hours of receipt and the goods are returned with their original packaging. To return faulty items, please send by recorded delivery to our warehouse address: 42 Broadfield Road, Sheffield S8 0XJ. Any missing items must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt.

3.6 If you claim that an item is damaged or defective, please notify us of the fault within 48 hours of receipt. The damaged or defective item must be returned to us according to the procedure described in paragraph 3.2 above. We will then review the returned product carefully and inform you of any refund due by email within a reasonable time. Products returned due to damage or defect will be refunded in full, including refund of delivery charges for your order. In the event we do not find any defects, we reserve the right to re-invoice the item (s) in question and recover from you our fees and expenses.
3.7 We will generally refund your order using the initial method of payment used during your order.
3.8 You are legally obliged to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession. If you do not comply with this obligation, we have a right of action against you to be compensated.
3.9 This does not affect your statutory rights.
3.10 By purchasing from our website you consent to receiving marketing information from us by email regarding offers and products. We will never pass your details on to third parties. Should you not wish to receive such information, please contact us at email@example.com or you can simply unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the relevant link at the bottom of each marketing email to remove your contact details.
4.1 We reserve the right to limit the quantities of a product ordered, or the number of repeat orders.
4.2 Rodent repellents may take 14-30 days to affect the rodents, so this period of time is required to establish rodent control. If you are not completely satisfied after this period, you can return the product by following the procedure described in point 3.2 above. Upon receipt of the returned item we will proceed to the full refund of your order minus shipping costs.
4.3 In relation to the use of glue boards, please be aware of the following:
Under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, any animal becomes a 'protected animal' when it is 'under the control of a human being, whether it be on a permanent or temporary basis'. Therefore an animal in such a trap is classed as protected, and if unnecessary suffering is caused, as a result of poor practice while using such a trap, through failure to release, or kill the animal in an appropriate manner, then it may be considered that an offence of causing unnecessary suffering under section 4 of this Act has been committed.
4.4 As we are unable to verify the correct use of our products, the extent of any infestation or any other determining factor, we cannot offer any guarantee of success and therefore no refund can be made on the basis that " Treatment is not effective. Any complaints or questions relating to the effectiveness of the products must be submitted directly to the manufacturer concerned.
Both the words "Pest Expert" and the company's brand logo are Registered Trademarks. The re-sale of any Pest Expert products is strictly forbidden, unless prior written consent is obtained from the company's owners.
Any company or persons found to be re-selling Pest Expert products, without prior permission been granted in writing, may become liable for prosecution, damages and all associated costs, on the grounds of breach of intellectual property rights and our terms and conditions of sale.
